Where is the GEM located in a MK7 Fiesta?

Hi guys and girls. Newbie to the forum. I've had my MK7 Fiesta Zetec for about five months now. It's an Australia spec model, so it's more a Titanium with a body kit, but still looks the !Removed!! I bought the Illuminated Gear Knob and Illuminated Door Sills but I don't know where this Global Electronic Module is? The instructions say it's behind the glove box, but these instructions are for a LHD model and being in Australia I have a RHD version. It's not near the glove box, so would it be hidden under the steering wheel? I'm afraid to rip the covers of the lower dash to look as I have the knee air-bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :-)
