Somehow managed to get a bolt embedded in my tyre today, now £76 lighter.

Obviously was the first new Fiesta they had seen at Kwik Fit as they were all having a good nosey at it. Heard one of them saying "like the car, but no sure about the colour"

ouch, i got a screw through my tyre last night, drove it to a garage this morning and left the wheel with em. when they had a min just sealed it, was a close call though as was near to the sidewall. i did know the mechanic but i usually pay for all the work. guess i got lucky!

I think mine was right at the sidewall, I originally went to Costco and the guy there said it couldn't be repaired - what a bummer! Being a girlie I didn't know how to change the tyre either!

you should of fluttered your eyes at the mechanic, that would of worked. i was gonna change mine this morning myself but i couldn't find a jack or tools!

 Clearly it didn't!

Do you even have a spare to change it with???

Mine got a 'inflation pack" which is basically useless in your situation or most punctures unless its a nice simple screw/nail right in centre of the tread!!!

Piggy :)

Ditto! Not that I even have a spare tyre

i had a blow out other week in mine :( had jack it up and chuck the spare tire on in the pissin down rain didnt like it at all!

Thank yourself lucky you could have had the puncture repair kit, and then you would have been wet.

Has any one tried to use one of these repairer kits on the side of the road must be quite good fun.

Well thankfully it didn't blow out - that would have been a serious trauma.

Yes I do have a spare wheel, phoned the bf - he was too busy at work, phoned my dad - he wasn't in!

The nice man at Costco put some more air in to let me get to Kwik Fit
