Is that the A82?

Yeah think so....

Lovely road but very dangerous, has one of the highest serious crash rates in the highlands and that includes the A9.

Given the way some of the other drivers were driving (Not me, I was still getting used to the Mondeo), I can see why.  Seriously, some of them were maniacs.  I was almost sent off the road into the grasslands by a few vans who were just in the middle of the road..

Unfortunately that's normal practice, dangerous driving all the way. If you speak to any of them about their speed and driving lines etc then you get the old reply 'I've been driving these roads for 20 years and know them like the back of my hand'. I always say that's not the point, you may well know them but not all the drivers do. It's no excuse/reason for driving like a tool

True that....and as my dear old dad used to say when I was younger, it's not the rd that dangerous its made of tar it's the idiots on it.

One of the first cars I remember my dad having was a Mondeo, can't remember what year it was, probably mid 90s and it was a 'verona'

The Verona was from 93 I believe it gave you alloys and aircon over standard
