St 180 exhaust on 1.0 ecoboost zetec

Featured Replies

Just got an St180 exhaust for my fiesta ecoboost zetec . Question is will it fit with the standard rear defuser with longer hangers ?

If not i am just goin to cut the tips off and fit it hidden .

Ps also have a 45mm to 55 mm connection already .

Thanks

If you fit longer hangers you will have to lower the exhaust all the way along to some degree..

If you cut of the tips, what was the point of buying the exhaust.?

What advantage do you think a St standard exhaust will give you over a standard 1.0ltr exhaust.?

Its a standard exhaust that was cheap. And literally just for a slight better sound . Obviously aware its not goin to give any performance benefits

Update !! No cutting was  required fits nicely . Quite close

Get a picture fired up.

I was looking at either an aftermarket exhaust or possibly doing the ST rear diffuser treatment, but if the back box alone clears the rear diffuser on the st-line I might just do that.

wicked i was looking at the same exhaust st180 but have an standard zetec s bumper so i was having the same thoughts of you i will most likely do this then.

did you just change the back box to a st180 or was it a full system

also has the sound improved to what the standard exhaust was.

well new purchase a 180 exhaust picking it up Friday £50 full system inc resonator. only done 1500 miles.

Fiesta st180 exhaust

Thank @bigryan2 for the picture.

Looks very close to the diffuser and I think the st-line / Zetec s diffusers are slightly lower again.

@AlexBartlam let me know how you get on please.

Paul.

if it is lower ill cut into the defuser and give it some wiggle room.

@AlexBartlam lucky !! Mine was £73 delivered and just the back box !!

@Pd2 it is very close, one side is slightly touching when hot but isn't putting much pressure on it. But i think i just need to rotate it slightly because it was raining when i fitted it !!

But the part you would have to cut wouldn't be seen .

Also it is very quiet and just noticeable when you put your foot down

yeah guess its right place right time, the ad was posted yesterday (monday)
