Dave1981
Bonnet lock isn't hard to remove just ease tue 2 platis clips apart n it pulls out. Will make sence once u r looking ar it. make sure you dont allow it to drop down once youve freed it from the upper grill as the weight can pull it n disconnect it from the bodwen cable.

Dave1981
Ive done it twice as went to a zetec s grill then the 1 i currently got.. its straight forward n simple. The bonnet lock is basically held in by 2 big plastic lugs n u just pry em apart wi a flat head screw driver n pull gently back n it pops out. Just make sure not to let it then drop down on its own as i did n it disconnected the bowden cable from the act lock mechanism...

Commencal24
Fitted pedal covers tonight. Decided against paying the price for Ford ones. ignore the state of the carpets 😉 If anyone else or thinking about getting these id recommend, painting the metal tabs on the accelerator first.
Commencal24
Grills fitted today, I was a little apprehensive about the upper with what can happen with the lock but it was simple tbh, the fog surround were an absolute nightmare though as the clips just didn't want to fit in the slots! Also fitted nightbreakers to the fog lights too, which on the focus bulb list were H8 but were actually H11's
TangoDaz
Looks great honey combe front really improves the look. Gloss black or colour coded bonnet lip will make the front end even better

A splitter or I've seen a sea grey ZS spoiler for sale are next

Commencal24
This came through the post yesterday cost £80 + £15 postage has a light scratch right on top and a small scratch down to primer on the outside edge, but apart from that it's in excellent condition. Had loads of tape residue on it when it arrived as apparently the previous guy had smashed his rear window and so taped a plastic sheet from the spoiler 🙈 But sticky stuff remover easily got rid of it. Also fitted colour coded mist washer jets over the weekend. Not got round to pics just yet, I did drop one of the plastic clips holding the sound proofing on the bonnet which ended up with me taking the tray off from under the car.

The st has a different loom connector, If you had purchased it brand new from ford; http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_focus_st_rear_spoiler_2008_f_1689072.htm it wouldn't have a loom connector atall it comes with crimps instead, But both on the high level brake light look are black 😅 so you need to turn on the ignition and press the brake pedal using either; A: the missus or B: the head and handle of the vacuum cleaner jammed between pedal and seat to act as a foot activating the brake lights while you wire in the new loom using crimps and pvc tape. also before fitting purchase some bathroom silicone and apply a ring of it around each bolt hole between the outside boot and the spoiler. this prevents the common boot leak problem from ever happening to you Hi5🙋

Also put a blanket on the roof to protect from scratching when fitting.

Good thinking 👍🏼 I'll undoubtedly get some stupid comments from the guy across the road as I'll be as he calls "tinkering with my car" 🙄 Heres my colour coded washer jets.
