Looks excellent mate, did you use the silicone around bolt holes between boot and spoiler as preventative maintenance? And some silvatec offset pin indicator bulbs in the tail lights along with T10 silvatec in the wing mirrors will remove the fried egg apperance 🍳

there 100% road legal and last forever I've got mine fitted since 2010 not blown yet 👌

Your car is looking really good mate.

You have done some sweet modifications to it.

Lenny with regards to those rear light bulbs do they do silvers one for the tail/brake lights and if so where from mate.

Cheers

I haven't saw "dual filament" red silvatec bulbs available anywhere, dual filament means they do both stop signail and tail signal in the same bulb.

I personally don't recommend red silvatec bulbs; because they shine more pink than red but it's personal taste.

easiest option would be to fit the RS tail light units

Guide to Fitting Genuine focus RS LED tail lights Mk2.5 Click Here

Then your red bulbs are single filament for brake signal, you could fit silvatec single filament then because the prism of the led signal light will balance out the washed red in the silvatec.

Cheers Lenny

I have a 2009 zetec and wanted to get rid of the original rear bulbs and upgrade to silver.

I know now why I have not seen silver rear ones.👍😬

Yes I did use clear silicone around all the holes 👍🏼

Ive already done the wing mirrors and was planning on the tail lights and now I know what type of pin I need for the bulbs, cheers Lenny

Are these the right bulbs for rear indicators and wing mirror indicators?

They are from Alltronics.

Wing mirrors yes there T10 W5W but the rear you have there are not the correct ones here's a link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-SILVATEC-BU581S-CHROME-OFFSET-PIN-INDICATOR-BULBS-/270946376101?hash=item3f15a999a5:m:mxOJRg3KN2SMffYrZZQSU9w

On a clock face the pins should be at 09:00 and 14:00

Not 09:00 and 15:00

wear latex gloves when touching these bulbs because the moisture and oils in our skin will tarnish the mirror finish aswell as reduce the spread of light.

Thank you once again Lenny.👍👌

Ye know someday: they might just give me a trophy like yours man, but pheck id setlle for a blue Peter badge or even a medal 😉

You could try fitting RS rear lights and fit led bulbs to both indicators and stop lights it's a bit involved as you need to modify the stop led and put a inline resistor in to the indicator led but well worth the effort

Well it was only a second place trophy and not very big either but I was well happy.

So I reckon you certainly deserve a 1st place for sure.

I am well shocked you don't have a Blue Peter badge.😳

Its all i ever wanted 😢

tried my best too; Google search: Full list of lennys guides

going to get myself a 3D printher then I'll be the blue peter badge king 😂

Smoking both the rear lamps and mirror indicators helps to hide the bulbs in the first place. Also smoke the fog and reversing lights and use leds

Next I'm thinking is the clear reverse light, need a dint sorting on the drivers door too 😢 then maybe a front splitter what do you guys think?

Zetec S skirts are out of the question right now as my second little girl due at the end of June and I've heard the fibreglass version are best avoided, so small but affective mods for now.

Cars looking good front splitter would be good have you thought about wind deflectors as they look good and also very practical

clear fog light would be a good choice a set of drl's would also be a good addition. Mind you you can go on and on spending £££ lol

You certainly can, new disc and pads are needed soon plus the wheels are in a awful condition.

I think a clear 3rd brake light too, what type of tiniting spray did you get? As I'm assuming there's different levels of darkness?

Don't know at the moment as tint spray is at work and a colleague gave it to me I'll check tomorrow and let you know  it all depends on how many coats of tint you give the lights as to how dark it gets.

If you need to replace your disc's and pads you could always do for some slotted/ cross drilled at the same time it will look great alongside your wheels

No worries mate, it's not something I'll be doing in the next few days so there's no rush.

Thats what I was thinking paired with some greenstuff pads.

liking the spoiler mate and just got one for mine from ebay just waiting for delivery then will get it sprayed body colour then will fit myself. can you remember how much you paid to have it painted? you can also buy a clear rear brake light for the spoiler then it will tie in better with your rear lights mate

I think I payed £150 for the piano black my spoiler already had the clear brake light so all I needed to do was smoke it. I think you can get the clear brake light on either ebay or from a ford dealership but as mentioned previously you may need the connectors that goes between the tailgate loom and the light it's self

Hi

just found an old email from a dealership called vospersmotorhouse and they quoted £47.08 +£3.95 postage don't know if this helps?
