Mk 7 fiesta part help

Featured Replies

hello chaps, i have cracked a plastic panel on the fiesta having reversed into my bin. its the plastic panel that sits under the rear windscreen and includes the rear badge. i think it's just clipped on so dont think it will be hard to remove and replace. anyone know where i can get this part/find the part number? the panel is intact only cracked, do you think this is easily/cheaply repairable?

Ford dealer parts counter. I think they come in two versions (possibly 3) - one for titanium with chrome lip, other for rest of range, but will come unpainted, ready primed.

I reckon for the part and to get it painted you could be looking upwards of £70 :(

Might be worth trying a scrapyard/ebay for a second hand one ;)

oow that much ouch, have been looking for second hand one but dont know what to call the part, any ideas here? i found a complete front and rear bumper off a mk7 in silver so have asked the seller if he has this bit aswell. cheers

Do you mean the chrome belt between the glass and bootlid? If so, best place would be a ford dealership to get the part numbers. Also FMC, the Zetec and Titanium are the same RE the chrome on the outside. All other cars get a black plastic belt line

its this bit here, this photo is for example only, i shall get a proper pic of damage up when next off. its just a very thin cracked line no dent or missing bits maybe easy to to fill and spray on the cheap? think it may need pulled or pushed out a little then the crack may blend better? do you get a rub in coloured filler or wax for such cracks?

the chrome bit is fine its the upper right bit of the silver plastic that has a 6inch long thin crack running thru it.
