Before Christmas I was looking at buying the Ford Protect Service Plan,which gives you the first 3 services plus an extra 2 years recovery cover for a fixed price.

In december the price was £ 430.65 for my Fiesta.

On the the Jan 2010 price list ,the price has gone up to £695 !!!!!!!

The current cost of the first 3 service at the local chain dealer is about £500,

Why would anyone buy the service plan,unless ford are planning to massively increase service charges for all the new fiestas they have sold.?

The Kuga price also increased by a similar amount,

    Personally i've always avoided these plans as i never keep a car long enough to make them worthwhile.
