Middle Rear Seat Belt

Featured Replies

Hi,

My MOT failed on the rear seat belt not working properly as it wouldnt release and retract properly. I have since fitted a new one from a breakers yard. It worked for a couple of times and now has done exactly the same thing.

Can anyone give me any ideas as i dont exactly want to go and buy another one.

Thanks,

Well if you need a working seatbelt and the two that you have are broken then you will have to buy a new one. Take it to a garage or better still a ford dealership and get them to sort it for you

The second one was working fine for a day or so which leads me to believe it is not the belt but something else.

Buy a new one from Ford, which will come with a warranty, and get it fitted by a professional also at Ford, whose work will also be covered by warranty. :)
