mk7 boot leak

Featured Replies

i have read a number of threads on here about leaking mk7 boots but cant find them as it must have been to difficult to put "mk7 boot leak" in the title. anyway as you may have guessed my boot has a leak (passenger side) back left and the water is very close to, if not already dripping into the rear light wiring! i shall get pics up when wife comes back with car but has anyone else noticed this? if yes, is this a known fault and is it a diy fix with sealant as i cant be arsed taking it back to dealer for them to muck about with. i recall a thread complete with pics but when i search i mk7 boot etc i get sod all coming up. cheers.

found threads thanks to google, http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/index...mp;hl=boot+leak http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/index...?showtopic=8613
