Headlight Brows Legal?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I was thinking of buying some headlight brows for my fiesta s1600 (from triple r composites). Does any one know if they are legal, or if my car will fail its MOT with them installed?

https://www.triplercomposites.com/product-page/fiesta-mk7-headlight-brows

I have contacted them, and they aren't aware of any issues regarding cars failing MOTs.

Obviously I don't want to fit something that could get me pulled over by the police etc...

Any help would be appreciated

As long as they don't imped the light output you will be fine

I've got them on mine, they have no effect on light output, beam pattern etc

Thanks for the reply mate.

Did you get yours painted? If so roughly how much did it cost? (If you don't mind me asking).

I sent mine to paintmodz in blackpool (find them on Facebook) he charged £45, it was there and back in a week. Quality and colour match are perfect.

Cheers mate, thanks for the advice 👍

Nice looking engine bay, did paintmodz do some of that aswell?

They did everything but the engine cover;

header tank, battery top cover, battery front cover,  fusebox lid, airbox lid, airbox snorkel, slam panel, bonnet latch bracket, washer jets and sat nav surround in gloss black

They did do a proper job of it. The eyebrows look like they came from factory. I'm thinking of getting the door strips, mirror covers and door handles colour coded so could ask paint modz. My uncle knows someone so might see which one offers the cheapest price. I kind of will get worried posting the bits somewhere as there is that risk of them getting damaged or lost.
