mk 7 fiesta cd player problems!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi everyone at Ford Owners Club!!! I have a problem with my cd player in my mk7 1.4 16v Festa Zetec! When I burn off a Mp3 cd I seem to have problems with it playing properly? It seems to jump on certain tracks and its not always the same track!!! Ive done everythin i know to try & solve the problem!!! So now I'am out of ideas???????? So please if anyone else has had this problem please could you contact me with any suggestions???

Thanks NickBoy88

Hi, do a search it's been covered sooo many times. Mines been into ford about

this problem and apparently it's unfixable. Something to do with the laser that reads

the disk and the speed in which it spins. However, I've found that if you use cd-rw's and only burn them half full then it dosent jump. It's just something were going to have to live with, quite shocking really.
