Heater working - but not properly. Any advice?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Before posting this I've searched around the forum and looked at the various Fiesta heating problems, but this one seems slightly different so any advice appreciated.

I'm running an 02 Fiesta 1.8 Diesel, the heating/cooling fan works fine, but the temperature gets to what I would describe as "quite warm" at best, and this is when the fan is on 1 or 2. When the fan is set to 3 and 4, the temp gets cooler and the air flow becomes lukewarm.

Car's been in the garage all day and still not fixed. The guy tells me the engine isn't getting that hot overall so he's first going to replace the thermostat and see if that fixes it, if not then the next step would be the heating tap.

Any comments or advice please???

Thanks.

Sound like "The guy" is taking the usual steps to sort it out. The above things could fix the problem.

Okay that's good to know, nice to have a bit of reassurance. Thanks for the reply.
