Radio Code

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area but here goes :)

Can anyone help? I think the radio/cd player has been changed in my car as the code I have doesn't seem to work. I disconnected the battery when I changed my steering wheel and since then the 'enter code' thingy has been flashing. I put in the code that was written on the front of my service book but it didn't work. A 30 minute countdown started and when it finished, it asked me for the code again.

I've done this FIVE times and it hasn't worked so I figure the code must be wrong.

The model number is M131728. Can anyone help??? The silence is killing me :(

Regards Alan (new to this and a bit thick :)

Try 4914. Let me know how you get on. <_<

Jack, while it is admerable you wanting to help fellow fiesta drivers, It may be worth remembering that the people you are supplying unlocking codes to may well have stolen/aquired stolen head units which will then be sold on once the code is obtained. While I'm not accusing the OP of any wrong doing, it may be wise to refrain from such assistance. Just a thought. Any moderators on here care to make a comment on this ??

I dont care what reasons they have.

Nice attitude, Would be a different story I suppose if your property was stolen though ???

So it's alright for you to to call ianash a troll? Nice.

Really? You've only been on this site a couple of days. Why on earth do you think your concerns should be accomodated?

Wasn't a very wise move was it queeg? Would you report you neighbours to the police a couple of days after you moved in next door? You wouldn't be welcome for very long would you?

If you have only joined the forum to aggravate people and troll the boards then maybe you should jog on

Radio codes can be had easily enough from a variety of sources, if Jack hadn't supplied then somebody else would have done soon enough.

Well, I deffinately didn't rob the car. lol.

I bought it back in July and it had a rather worn and smelly steering wheel. So I had to disconnect the battery when I changed the stinky wheel to prevent the airbag exploding in my face. I found what I thought was a code on the front of the service book, but it didn't work. Hence the cry for help :)

Thanks for the code. I'll give it a try in the morning and hopefully rid myself of the defening silence.

Alan.

Thanks Jack. Couldn't wait for the morning so I just went outside, in the freezing cold, in me pants to see if it worked........and it did!!!

It's a shame that some people immediately assume someone is a car theif without knowing the history behind the question. Maybe that's just how society is these days :(

Anyhooooo, thanks again Jack. I shall enjoy the next few years of Fiesta driving with my music playing and my A/C keeping me cool in the crappy jams of good old London town.

Regards Alan.

well said jonny and happy motoring alanh :P

I was only trying to help, most (if not all) people on this forum are friendly and helpful and not car thiefs. I lost my code last year and some kind person helped me from this forum. I'm sure alunh could have Googled any number of websites to find his lost code. What is queeg going to do report Google to the the Moderators. Also I dont think Ford will do a CRB check on everyone who enquires about a lost 4 digit code but they will charge you £10. I agree with Jonny, why join a forum to rub people up the wrong way, We are only here to help and If we can save a few quid in the process, Why not.

the code generating software can be easily downloaded from the internet, so we are only saving time on something that alanh could have done himself if required.
