Hi People, firstly, my name is Paul and have just bought my second ford a 2000 finesse, and as you all no there quite gutless (especially after my first ford was an Xr2i, anyway, im looking to do an engine conversion, ive been offered a 2001 zetec s engine (blacktop) but was wandering if this is the way to go, other have suggested going for a mondeo conversion.

My main questions are as follow...

1. if not the zetec s engine, then which engine (easier conversions more welcome then difficult)

2. if the zetec s engine is it really as simple as take the old engine out and put new one in with new mount

3. if a mondeo engine what parts will be needed

basically i have a mechanic very capable of the job but i need to find out what needs to be changed to make it work, any help will be hugely appreciated!

and another question i have is, do any of you guys no how easy it is to get new wings welded onto the car as mine are buggered lol!
