Hi everyone,

I have read the other short cranking problem topics and it seems no one has a answer to this problem.I have the same intermittant problem and after checking everything that would normally cause this problem i can only think that the starter motor has a cranking time limit before it is shut down to avoid overheating.Occasionally this timer malfunctions and cuts the cranking short.My question is? does any one know where the timer is?,is it a glowplug type of relay or is it built into the ecu.Any words of wisdom would be most appreciated.thank you in advance.
