need tips on how i can make my mk 7 zetec sound better?
hi, so this is my first car, 2010 fiesta zetec and i have just put in my first upgrade. I took out my stock intake air filter and replaced it with a semi cheap one. im just looking for cheap (ish) upgrades to make it sound better or louder? any advice would be great. Im new to the whole upgrading scene but im willing to learn.

Hi all! How common is it for the Thermostat housing itself to fail, versus the gasket on the engine side? My folks car has had a "Thermostat housing" leak for a couple of years. I topped it up the middle of last year, and it's only just above the min line, so it's not a drastic leak by any means. The garage they went to is pricing the job up at £150 but only if it's done with them also doing the cam belt. There isn't any obvious leak around the top, or the green stubby thing that's hel

Ford Focus Club 1Temperature going to 90 on the dash in a few minutes.
Hi! I own a 07 Ford Focus (1.6l petrol, 5 speed manual). I have heard that the temperature gauge is a little off (never going to 90 exactly, it's a little less). Is it normal? Because I see it in a lot of those Focuses that are for sale. Also it reaches that point very fast. It could be a month since I haven't started it and in a few minutes it's at the point that it is always, is that also normal? Or is something broken? Many thanks Henri

Thank you for the responses. I will have a try at the jump lead from battery negative to engine to see if it's that.👍 I have no reason to doubt the volt meter but I agree 12.8v does seem very optimistic. If it's not the battery earth I'm not sure where next. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow. Thanks again. -

If your car is a '59' plate then it is at least a 2009 model, it could even be a 2010. It certainly will be a Fiesta Mk7 here in the UK.
