Great peace of mind when taking walks in the forest or parked in unknown areas,

Keep it in glovebox,

Looks much like a 6000CD from the 90's

Just think yourself lucky you bought a premade sub box lenny.. Could have ended up with carpet as bad as this! http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/63471-fiesta-mk6-5-door-custom-sub/#entry425652

MDF panel looks good! Going to look like a Professional job!

Just saw your thread for the first time today mate looks sweet,

Ive post a few questions on your thread linked there after seeing it,

Thanks very much for comments mate, its pretty light 9mm mdf then double layer strips around the edge,

So overall its 28mm thick additional 1mm gorilla glue,

Internal cavity for cables and connectors is 19mm gap between the 9mm sheet and the back of the seat,

Next step is to purchase the amp,

Mark up the MDF,

Drill it,

Purchase carpet and glue,

Coat it,

Refit amp and cables,

Long way to go yet,

Making my final purchases of 2014 on 20th

Gotta do Santa for three then,

I'll continue progress mid January with view of completion in April/May

Ive replied to your questions :)

I've built my box out of 12mm MDF and some bits of ply to reinforce/screw into so I'm not !Removed! directly into MDF. I've also used No Nails everywhere to make it more sturdy & stop air escaping.

I've just started building a false floor out of 9mm MDF to hold the box in place & so i can hide more silentcoat inside it. Might use it to mount the amp cause im feeling lazy now ive finished the box & although i like your idea of mounting the amp It's too much effort for me! haha.

What amp are you looking at?

when it comes to christmas i use the "I'm still young, people should still be buying me presents" card!

A nymphomaniac electrician? How shocking!!

Sssshhh sean ...Lenny doesnt know the meaning ... Ain't you an electrician tho Sean?

Nooo...I'm a sailor lol

I'll have a go at almost anything though - what's the worst that can happen :D

Same thing isnt it lol, :P

Sounds good,

You gotta purchase A3 size 4mm sheet of perspex,

Get DMB to create an etched glass style decal of ford logo 4" oval

Fit your amp in false floor with blue led strips wired in to boot light,

The amp is visible through the perspex in the floor and etched ford logo catches the blue light prism from the leds

Going for JL Audio Amps:

JX360/4 purchasing as part of a kit

And

JX250/1

I'm 29 now and 320 miles from family, I've got my own family now though lol 7yr old, 5yr old and another due out anytime now lol

I don't get presents but i don't give them out neither so nothing lost and nothing gained.

Another wee tip lenny forgot to mention ... Don't saw up your mdf in the frigging kitchen!!!!!!

Same thing isnt it lol, :P

No Sean sails empty yogurt pots in his bath pmsl

This is more exciting than waiting for Lenny to take delivery of a new motor. Don't forget to post pictures of the new car oops I mean baby when you take delivery! Any plans for mods or are you leaving it standard Vicki?

Got a feeling Lenny's secretly planning to turbo it (him/her)

I think Lenny is working out how much sound proofing material he can spare from his latest car project.

Haha Phil ... Aye I'm getting decals for side of pram to match the focus and I think Clive should watch his mouth or he will be eating the sound proofing!

Late logging on as had a very busy day,

Had a "pavo triple sleeper bunk bed" purchased three weeks ago with free delivery arrive from beds.ie in Co.Tyrone at 8am this morning "Ding" "Dong" "top of da wea morning"

Dropped kids to school,

Then had to go collect the baby's travel system which is black and RS green btw :)

Brought it home in 4 boxes then vicki points out that there should be five boxes,

So back in the car to the shop explain life story beginning with the dinosaurs prior to receiving the fifth box,

Home collect kids then off to hospital for a diagnostic check up and a bit of a groping session lol

Home and assemble the buggy and the bunk bed,

All jobs now complete and im up 05:20 for work in the morning thank God its friday tomorrow :)
