MRC89
Evos - The evolution of Kinetic design http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/258885/ I think exciting times are ahead of Ford right now. Those doors are really clever!
cyb
nice looking, but the doors will never make it into production (thankfully).
MRC89
nice looking, but the doors will never make it into production (thankfully). Yup, just a "look at me" piece for motorshows, would be hugely impracticle and you wouldn't want to put things in door trays! I do like how it appears to be a 2 door when it's actually a 4 door though.
Mark M.K
I think that looks rather nice. Anybody else thinking it looks like an Aston Martin or Jaguar?
MRC89
I think that looks rather nice. Anybody else thinking it looks like an Aston Martin or Jaguar? Yes, agree with the aston martin thing, something to do with the grill, even the article mentions it. Some more: I'm hoping they take some of this inspiration to the next fiesta! Lenny
Wow that interior is mad! Very OTT will never make it on the road, theirs no support beams in the side impact the way those doors lift, looks very much like a jag with a facelift on the front end or the new celica. dont get me wrong i like it, i want one in the red, but wont make it to production, ford are broke at the momment ;)

It's just a glimpse into the kind of goodies and features that should be available with the next generation of Ford's. The designer was kind of hinting that the new Mondeo may have similar LED headlights/grill for example. They've been very careful not to call it a capri though, with all the rumours that a new capri is on the cards. If they were to make a capri, it should just be a watered down version of this evos. The doors are just to attract attention at motorshows etc, this has pretty much been admitted by Ford also. I do really like how they sit on the car when closed though. MRC89
http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/ford-evo-concept-2011-08-31 Top Gear have a good review on the car, very explanatory about what it is and isn't, they also have another interior shot... ...lovely

MRC89
Technology Breakdown: Some of this seems a bit overboard, and seems like it'd be a lot of work to benefit from. Are ford REALLY suggesting it's okay to read emails while in moving traffic? :D
