darrenzs19
Can anyone tell me if using a sticker number plate is illegal if it's not exactly at the front of the car it's more to the right
MONDEO TXS 2.2
I've seen number plates on Alfa's ( I think ) that are on the n/s/f bumper, never seen one yet on the o/s/f
iantt
as long as its plainly visable and black on white i should imagine its ok
MarksST
Seen a few fiestas with a stick on plate under the NS headlight, I think it bends to far around so it isn't fully visible from the front, one lad got told to remove it and wasn't happy as he had smoothed over the number plate area. Yes some car have offset plates, Alfas, Mitsubishi evos for example but, their plates are on a bracket that makes them more parallel with the front of the car. It'll probably be ok but you might also get pulled for it.
Stoney871
They are illegal unless the car was registered prior to 2001. There was a level of concern about people buying adhesive DIY numberplate kits and making up whatever plate they want. http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=20729
