Still puzzled as to why, in view of this, Ford have extended the service interval on the Fiesta which still has the wet belt, as opposed to the revised 1.0 in the Focus, which now has a chain.

 

 

 

 

And ironically, the Fiesta ST, which is chain driven, is still 1yr/12.5k, lol.

Would that be because they expect the ST to be driven in a more, shall we say, enthusiastic manner than the normal versions?😀

They know anyone buying an ST isn't bothered by running costs so they can try thier luck with it... :wink:
