Ford Fiesta mk8 1 litre EcoBoost automatic

Featured Replies

sounds like over optimistic computer to me. I wonder how accurate what the dashboard says compared to what it would be by topping the tank, driving for a few hundred miles and topping up again to check how much fuel was used.

I’ve reported it to ford and they will have a look but I don’t want to get fobbed off this can’t be normal

my old fiesta half a tank would get me over 200 miles

And it can’t be just a faulty reading the mileage displayed is actually what it gives me

What sort of journeys do you do?

I’ve heard the torque converter auto box in the Fiesta does compromise the fuel efficiency a little but 160 to a tank is still shockingly low.
