keyless entry button on door not working

Installation costs ?

I fitted them myself. Its not hard, there is a total of 4 wires to connect. - Ground, Constant Live, Ign Switched Live, and the kill switch output which you need to buy a 12Volt relay (Halfords £7).

If you get a tracker I can give you details of what to connect and how.

Thats brilliant the other half is on amazon now looking , any recommendations

We have used a few different ones over the years. At the moment we all have the DB1 Lite from Rewire, seems to work well, easy to install, cheap to run and gives good position, accurate to about 2 metres. Map update time is about every 12 seconds. You can buy direct from Rewire but often you get a cheaper price via Amazon.

Looks good cheers

Hi

that could be the case as my stop/start doesn't activate even though it comes up green when I start it up.

I have a 2020 mk8 fiesta and my keyless entry doesn't even work and I don't know why

It might be switched off in the settings so it can only be opened by pressing the fob.

I'm fairly new to the mk4 Focus and have found the same problem.

Have since found out that the passenger side keyless entry is deactivated if the battery voltage drops a bit low.

Could be the same for a 2014 Fiesta.

I recently took my ford fiesta ST Line x 2023 in because of my passenger side door keyless entry and air con not working. They charged my car battery up which they said that's what was up and it fixed both issues. Couple months later having the same issues. If it's the battery again, that can't be good.

It was under 1 year old when I first took it in.

It's just the way new cars are. You will just have to get used to it and charge the battery every 5 or 6 weeks with a Smart charger, something like the Maypole.
