That seems odd. I am on F11 maps and voice and POI's are working no problem.

Just to clarify; this issue occurs when you press the 'voice' button on the steering wheel and then speak 'find an address' or 'find a poi'. . . the system then asks you to actually spell out the location, etc.

 

Not on mine. Press voice button say "find a supermarket" screen comes up with a numbered list of about 6 supermarkets and the voice asks for the line number of the supermarket you prefer, say the line number it then updates the map route.

Yes, my system does exactly the same as yours if you say 'find a supermarket', however its when you say ' find an address' that it asks to actually spell out the town, etc.

Which isnt what Sync used to do, it just asked you say the road and town - not actually spell it.

Again mine does. Ask for street and town and up it comes. For some reason though doesn't like you asking for a street number.  It can't figure out say six being a number I assume and just adds it to the front of the street name, i.e 6, Curlew Close is checked as Six Curlew Close which can't be found as there is no road with that name.

Not sure if you already tried but usually after a large update date it's is worth doing a master reset

Arthur and I are in a small group of people with this problem posting in the Cyanlabs forum, most of us have done the full reformat and reinstall of Sync and the master reset.  The only solution found so far is to reformat reinstall but with the F10 maps, the sync then seems to work as it should.
