Now that's better, a full profile! Your question has been around for over 50 years, when folk use to worry about stuff being put in their petrol tank, hence a whole industry started up flogging locking fuel caps. If someone wanted to damage your car, pulling hard on a locked fuel door to gain access would hold no barrier to them...

Ford haven't used locking fuel flaps since they introduced the "easyfuel" system which started back in around 2008 on some models.

Stealing of AdBlue would have to be an act of pure desperation when you can buy 10 litres for £12. You may as well worry about someone stealing your windscreen wipers which are worth more.

There are some locks especially designed for this.
