My 2019 fiesta active 1 had a advisory on its may 23 mot, slight misting on both rear shocks.

This year's mot there were no advisories nor any mention of slight misting. I did not wipe shocks down. Both mots done at same ford dealer, maybe some truth in Anon's post.

                   Had the same on family members car misting on n/s only, this was due to carrying

                   sacks of rubble and soil in the boot 5 trips skip centre. Going over numerous

                  speed bumps so wiped them both down, Checked before next Mot due clean

                  no advisories on rear shocks.
