Gear knob cover fell off

Hi all,

I borrowed the wife's Fiesta this morning and as I put the car into reverse to park up on the drive, the little black/silver cover on the top of the gear knob came off in my hand! It seems that 3 of the 4 little retaining lugs have broken off and no doubt will be a pig to get the remnants out of the gear knob!

I'm suspecting this is not an isolated incident as the bay of evil seems awash with replacements. However, has anyone else had to replace theirs and if so, can you suggest a reliable supplier of said cover?

    Same happened to mine (Mk7.5). I just got one from ebay and its was a 100% match

    Tell a lie, it was amazon. It was 4 years ago so quality might be different but this is what I ordered
