Ford Mexico

Featured Replies

do all Ford Mexico have "Mexico" written in the V5?

Hi Vivienne,

I've seen this (and similar questions) crop up over the years. Some ads suggest this might be the case:

I've never seen definitive answer though. One thought was that prior to the computerised V5C system we know today, vehicle descriptions on the old buff RF60 logbooks may not have been standardised.

I recall some Mexicos being badged "Mexico" on the front wings, others "1600GT" and wonder if this variation could have been carried onto the logbook.

I always thought that they said GT Mexico on the Log book

But I could be wrong.

They certainly don't say "RS", the MK2 Mexico did though
