Juddering

Featured Replies

Hi. Im new here. I have a 2020 ford focus 1.5 tdci auto and when i first start my car up in the mornings and drive my car seems to be juddering pretty bad when i put my foot down. Once first journey is conpleted and car is switched off for a little bit it all seems to go and be ok and drives fine? Any ideas would be appreciated. Its on 61400 miles. I have been recommended to get a service but isit worth me getting it diagnosed first?

Thanks

Yes. An oil change is unlikely to fix it.

The only service part that could cause this is the fuel filter, but that isn't changed at the 6 year/60k mile scheduled service.

Can you tell whether the juddering is from the engine or the autobox?
