And I don't know about spraying the interior black? It looks nice as it is or maybe blue or white?

r3ign
Bet you cannot wait either!! Cant wait :) it seems like I'm going to be doing more mods on this car than any other car I've owned :D Ah yeah - forgot about the team helko wind deflectors allong with the rear tints :) as for interior - might have a dark inside and a light outside but will confirm that when I collect the car later next week :) I do like the idea of frozen white plastics or metallic blue plastics (will need to photoshop these to give me a rough idea) Was also thinking of spraying / painting the callipers ford blue to go with the blue / white theme. I'm also looking for a pair of focus 2011 mist style washer jets Plus I have my first mod right in front of me - simple yet effective
Marcr1
Nice! I've been meaning to change my tax disc holder, but the garage stuck theirs on so tightly that when i try to pull it off it breaks up into little pieces and messes the glass up, so I just leave it there :P my first mod were ford branded white dust caps for the wheels :D

Marcr1
I'll have to give it a go, yeah I bought them off amazon, they were £4 if I remember rightly, They're pretty cool as they match the wheels and have a ford badge on them, as for people trying to steal them you can fit a screw in the side of them with an allan key and you're average opportunist thief has no chance of taking them off, Obviously if someone really wanted them I'm sure they'd find a way but they weren't expensive
Marcr1
They've gone up a bit in price but here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006KDKF9W/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00
r3ign
Nice, thanks. They surely look better than the standard black plastic. for £5 I guess they're not too bad.
r3ign
:::: A little Update :::: I've been told that the car will be ready for collection on Saturday ! :D Cant wait to collect it and I'm really looking forward to seeing it lowered too. will keep you all updated with pics :D Also .... I've received my mist style washers - so they're waiting to go on the car (thinking of colour coding them but with this weather I'm going to wait :) )

Don't think i've ever heard of them I know its like Christmas lol :D 1 full day to go :D mist style washers give a more even spread of water instead of the standard 'jet' type which just aim at certain points. here's a link to the ones I bought from a ford dealer on-line: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120791361144?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 They are cheaper than the pumaspeed ones and are exactly the same. r3ign
Thanks Got the car they had some issues with the APR rate but sorted it after a couple of hours (was worried that they couldn't make the deal) anyway, we finally got the car and im really pleased with it (pics to follow :) ) However I have discovered a few problems : no key less entry (didn't bother me much but the fact (Ford ETS was lying) no spare wheel (dealer is now ordering a new one for me ) rear speaker (behind driver) is quiet compared to the others (and I've had a look at the settings) But other than that its all good. The dealer's mechanic came up to me and said that its one of the / if not the fastest MP140 they have done - might put it on a Dyno to confirm this :) here's some pics: Me picking up the car: And a photo shoot:
Marcr1
Loving that pic on the tracks mate! Haha I disagree, mines faster ;) as for the spare wheel they don't come with them it's a puncture kit with the tyre gel & not all S1600s were standard with the power start

r3ign
nice car buddy Thanks :) got loads of mods to do on it though but after i take it back to Ford in 2 weeks :/ as the speaker need to be checked by them and they are ordering in a new spare wheel for me as they reckon the previous owner had taken it out of the car before selling it :( but on a better note they are giving me as a courtesy gesture: Rubber Matts Montune Shell jacket worth £60 ! will get more pics of the progress when I have time :) and will keep you all updated Loving the car and lowering really does make a difference ! I would defiantly recommend. wish I went for 40mm tough

r3ign
Looking good :) Thanks Nath :) more mods to come (including Eventually Retrofitting Power Fold Mirrors) I'm also considering some white/blue DMB's and colour coding the plastics inside (super quick photoshop) (handle's and vent surrounds = Performance Blue) (Centre Console and Steering wheel = Performance Blue with Frozen White Stripes ?) Still toying with the idea
