Damn! I'm actually going the post office tomorrow, but it is in the back of a Co-Op store which isn't visible from the car park anyway <_<

Don't think they'd appreciate me driving my car into the shop

We used to have the only crossroads in the country with 4 P's on each corner, a post office, a police station, a pub & a parish church which was in the Guinness book of records.

However, they closed the post office several years ago & it is now an estate agent's :(

Oooh one I can do, bet someone beats me to it! It will mean parking illegally for the 2 mins it takes me to get out the car and take the picture but I can do it!

Ok, next challenge:

Your car with a lighthouse in the background :D

If people struggle with this I can always come up with another, but be interesting to see if anyone can do it!

Got a (road accessible) light house about an hour and a half from me.

Would make a nice trek out, but knowing my luck I would go all that way to have someone beat me to it, lol.

(If you are wondering why I would go on such a long journey for a pic, my commute is only about 2 miles so I take the car out every few weeks to give her a run).

I could probably do this but I'll have to dig out my slr camera and the lighthouse will purely be a spec on the horizon :P

Lenny you crack me up mate! I think that happened because your car was facing the wrong way around, if you had them cree's pointing the other way it'd probably saved the ship!

Kerry that was a good picture, i too did not think standalone post office's exist no more.

As for the challenge. Stoke On Trent in the West MIDLANDS. I have NO chance haha, good luck those close by, interesting choice.

Got lucky with this challenge there was 1 of 3 places, good ol' Wales :P

You didn't say it had to be working But it is a light house none the less :)

I am lucky that my home town just happens to have a lighthouse conveniently positioned on land having been rebuilt after removal from it's original place out at sea and also have a breakwater 3 miles out from the coast the other side with a lighthouse on too.

I held off on posting a photo to give others a fighting chance.
