focus-dave
Anybody else have any moments when something else catches your eye? I love my car and enjoying modifying it although progress is slower than i'd like. Anyway just spotted a 2.5 focus that's absolutely fully loaded, they must have ticked every single box when they bought it it's got elec folding mirrors with puddle lamps and handling suspension, full leather, 18" alloys the lot and it's only................forget it you already have a car

Stoney871
Looks good but watch yourself with the led sidelights though. Some of my colleagues up north have no sense of humour with regards to blue bulbs.

I didn’t realise how bright they are until it got dark. They’re extremely bright and could be mistaken for an emergency vehicle. Having doubts in my mind.
Mooresy
Has anyone fitted an aftermarket race style steering wheel or know if it is possible to fit one on a mk 2.5 Focus?
Stoney871
Only if you remove the drivers airbag which would be an MOT fail.

As long as you fit a resistor to keep the airbag light working it used to pass MOT no problem. With the right boss and horn wiring you could fit an aftermarket wheel assuming you don't have cruise control. I'm not a fan of them but have fitted a few to mates road legal track cars. Found a guy that only lives up the road from me and he sells Car specific flat bottomed racing style steering wheels for €250. And using YouTube videos to see how to change steering wheels. Seems manageable.

That is a smart looking wheel, some customisation went into that.Carbon effect inserts would really set it off.Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)

Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+) I was thinking the same thing Stoney. Only thing is I was thinking of upgrading to the mk 3.5 st line or potentially the ST if I can get the right finance. Might be a waste of time getting one because I can't swap it onto my next car 🤔🤔

From a few YT videos and photos I have seen it will, however you lose middle seatbelt and have to cut off the seatbeat belt clip
