Side Skirts Now Added/exhaust Tip Changed Too!

Featured Replies

guys, as you may well know, getting hold of side skirts for a 5 door is a mission but i found a set on ebay and they were not a Ford item, in fact there is no branding on it. They are made from a rubber type compound and have a degree of flexibility to them

I did have black exhaust Milltek tips but decided to go for some stainless steel ones instead - i will have to keep these clean...

so, what do you thinks???

Looking good those skirts look pretty good to me were they a straight fit or a pain

fitting wise they were easy enough but one side sits a bit lower otherwise it would catch the doors

i had to modify it slightly and fit brackets underneath to help secure them.

Car looking very nice Sal. Alloys are awesome. What make/brand are they?

Thanks Hassen

The wheels are19" BBS CH copies

Wow! 19'' Did you lower the car because the arches are just the right gap along with the offset as well.

Here in Ireland, with the state of the roads, I could never get away with that size. 17'' is a very comfy ride here over the potholes :)

Your baby is looking great Sal. I think the silver exhaust tips look better than the black.

Cars not lowered yet...but the ride is fine even on our poor roads.

Silver tips do look better...need to apply some elbow grease to get them shiny

Looking sweet mate! get your project build thread updated...

I wish I had the cahoonas and the money to do these things :p

I havent really got a build thread. Just the odd post here and there. Im an ebay bargain hunter but like yiu say it still adds up. If my missus found out the true cost she'd go and buy a ring with a big rock on it to compensate

lol, I dont dare tell mine how much the mod's come to, she sees the bills for the repairs and maintenance, if she knew the true cost of all modifications, I would probably be strung up!

What they don't know can't hurt them.

Wow Sal , car's looking really smart m8.

Looks awesome Seal,

Black or carbon wing mirror caps and a set of black headlight units would finish it off nicely,

Those side skirts look better than ford too.

If you get the time mate

You should start a build thread in the specific section and add all of your images from photo bucket then add words inbetween each of the images.

Ya car looks mint dude. Like what you've done to it.

thanks for the comments chaps, very much appreciated.

Lenny, i thought about doing the mirrors but then thought were does it end? does it end? lol!

I might be having some carbon looking mudflaps soon...

door piilars and mirrors could be done...(i've bought some 4d carbon film so will see what its like) as i want the bonnet trim to match, the 3d version looks out of place as its not glossy.

the car is looking very sweet fella and loving what you have done

planning on a RS style rear diffuser by using 2 ST diffusers....40% there....

looks amazing mate!!

when did you get the front bumpers? I thought you had the black diagonals painted on? ..am I behind the times or just mad? haha

thanks for the comments chaps, very much appreciated.

Sal buddy; for me: I wish it would end lol but there's just so much potential the focus responds so well to the mods I'm personally addicted, but I've been doing well in recent months not purchased anything since 1st June and last week only spent £60 on a few bits together so I'm trying lol

If I knew how to remove outer door pillar covers I'd remove and have them hydro dipped carbon along with the stereo surround and centre console would look sweet,

With that said mate no it never ends,

I suppose were lucky with body kits, we can only fit one,

But in regards to turbo etc. Aw huh

I'm looking at a Garret GT hybrid, code red intercooler, and electronic water pump systems to bypass the mechanical belt driven systemand work iindependently of the engine,

This could continue cooling even with the engine off.

All lovely thoughts but where does it stop mate.

I'm a member of that club too mate.

Car looks great mate, can't really tell from the outside that it isn't an ST.

How have you attached the 2nd exhaust tip?
