stevegtuk - Both rear speakers stopped working at the same time, so I'm pretty sure they both work still. The reason I'm fault checking the head unit is because it's a lot easier to remove 4 screws inside the car than to remove 2 door cards for the first time in the rain and dark, so thought I'd exhaust this possibility first....

Thanks Stoney871 I'll investigate the wiring looms next for continuity throughout as/when I get a chance. If they are all OK I'll have to assume it's a fault with the unit (blown amp?) :(
