Dan Lewis
Hello there. I'm new here, so first off, sorry if it is in the wrong section. I have just bought a 1997 Ford fiesta 1.3 LX. It currently has the standard radio/cassette player. I was wondering, what CD player would fit? Thanks, Dan
Steve
Hi The stereo at the moment is it square or rectangular (post box size?) If it is the square factory system then you may get a fascia plate from Halfords or somewhere online. Then a single DIN stereo can be purchased. The you need to get the correct connection for the back, Halfords will have all of this. You can install almost anything.. funds permitting of course. Dan Lewis
It is the square shapped one. Thanks for your help. Is it that expensive to do? Thanks, Dan
Steve
i reckon you could find a cheap fascia on the net somewhere. just a bit of plastic.. you may find one with a pocket tray too. Look for a Single DIN conversion.. not double DIN otherwise you will have to find a double DIN stereo

Steve
As long as your Speakers are not pluged into an amp and straight into your own 3rd party amp or the stereo then i dont see anything else needed.
