Have they told you why there is so much delay at least

They say it's due to the spec I have gone for, by all accounts a standard titanium x business edition is around a 14 week lead time, mine however is what they are calling a custom build and has no specific lead time.

Any excuse oh well hope you are happy with it when it finally turns up

Are company cars are ment to be 6-8 weeks from order but they take more like 12 but I recon they forgot about yours that's why all of a sudden after you pushed them they gave you a date

I'm just a bit confused because the options of xenon headlights, rear spoiler, climate controlled seats and rear seat dvd system are not exactly extravagant,

I only have the spoiler I would of liked the rest but I bought my tit x as it was the general managers car so has has everything apart from ac seats dvd and exneon lights

The spoiler does make it look nice

I have tried other mondeo satnav so before the one I have now is very good

I don't know if your will be the same

I have finally got a meaningful update via etis. My car has actually been built!!!!!

It was built yesterday 17/02/14.

Does anyone know roughly how long it is now likely to take to be delivered to the uk dealership?

That's good news your getting somewhere shipping depends on the lease company as most of them deliver the cars to the company offices but usauly it only takes about 2-3weeks if you order the car for personal at the dealership so I would expect it would be the same for yours I bet you can't wait to get it now considering how long you've been waiting

I know which dealers it is going to now and it's a fairly local one to me.

The lease company places the order through a dealership as if they had walked in and ordered the car themselves so I am hoping to get it before the 10th march.

My company does not allow any cars to delivered between 10th and 20th of a month for payroll reasons.

Well according to etis my car was built on 27/02/14.

Anyone have idea how long it takes for a car to be shipped to the uk?

For normal personal car it's between 1-2 weeks

Not yet, the lease company are waiting on my employers giving the go ahead to release the car. I'm hoping it will be within the next week or so.
