I'm never entirely on holiday either, I have had to go in a few times when things have gone wrong but fortunately been fairly local. Don't know what's going to happen the day it all goes belly up and I'm half way round the world...

When they call you just tell them to switch it off then on again. That's what our techies do!

Yeah they already know that one from the IT crowd, lol.

It works a lot of the time although certain things don't like being turned off. The last time they tried to turn the server off and on it wouldn't boot back up. Amazing how electronic devices built around logic have a habit of being completely illogical.

Currently nursery nurse, and teaching assistant to a great little guy in a wheelchair. Also painting and decorating, 'cos my proper job doesn't pay much. And portraits of anything.

I drive for a real small company near Bristol , PB transport solutions.

Only a few of us there.

Cant work for large companies where you're just a number.

its a dramatic change in my life.in the first few years everytime i saw a man or a woman on uniform i had unexplained feelling and i want to cry.that something in my life was lost or brocken and it will never came back.RESPECT,PATIENCE AND DISCIPLINE is what the army teach me which i am trying practise in my life

those are the best morals to practice and its a shame they cant be forcefully educated to the youth these days!

Great reading through this. Shows that there is definitely a Ford for everyone :)

Currently I am a doctor specialising in Psychiatry.

Previous jobs: worked in a printing shop, built computers, pizza delivery, and during med school, worked as a French Localisation QA for Activision Blizzard. They basically paid me to test their video games - best job up to date :)

Loved the video games job. Did it every summer, 3 months at a time for 3 years running. Doesn't really help in Psychiatry sadly though lol

Give me a couple more years into my training then I might be able to sign them paperwork for you :P

You would still get locked up wither way, not in a prison, but in a Forensic Ward of a hospital, which can be worse than prison depending where you end up.
