As would I but if it is not going to be ready until mid August at the earliest then it makes sense to hang on as it'll be worth more when it comes to selling it on - not that I am planning on doing that for years yet!

It's so weird, how variable the delivery delays are. We ordered our Frozen White Zetec 1.25 5 dr manual on March 12, and collected it on May 7. It was built from scratch, and our dealer very kindly kept us informed of its progress every week (he actually phoned us, too, unlike many from what I read on this forum). Maybe the days of delivery "only" taking 8 weeks are behind us, or maybe ours is a sign that occasionally they can still be turned around in that time. I suppose it depends on precisely which variant they're planning to knock out a bunch of, when your order goes in...maybe??

No, none at all and that's probably what helped a lot. We toyed with the idea briefly of the City Pack (rear parking sensors and Titanium-spec folding mirrors), but didn't go for it as we didn't really want the sensors (as it happens, since they are black, they wouldn't have looked particularly pleasant on our white car, we since discovered) and you couldn't get the mirrors without them. I notice that the Zetec and Titanium in Frozen White can come with either the Syracuse/Fairland interior (dark grey) or the Soho/Fairland (maroon and dark grey) and again ours is the former, which I suspect is most likely the default choice, as well.

Well... looking at wednesday for collection, so maybe within a week of then. Thing is, as of very early tomorrow morning I am going to be going non-stop for a week cos I have a whole load of stuff all kicking off at the same time! new job, new place, old car, hire car, new car, a family wedding, several 250 mile journeys, many thousands of pounds moving about the place for the mk7. Its a mad week!
