Depending on when you are going to order yous, you could wait until I get mine delivered and put some pics up and then you can see what a 3 door Titanium X with the dress up kit will look like in Squeeze - and there are plenty of Viion Blue Zetec S's to get a feel for what it would look like in Vision

Good advice Paul - I'll do just that! Then I'll get a very good idea of what it's like 'in the flesh' - so to speak.

I can't order a new car until June 25th at the earliest. Any idea how long until you take delivery of yours?

Nothing! It was always going to be a new Fiesta, nothing matches it for me in the price range.

Have been told that delivery will not be until early to mid August but if you have seen some of the other threads on here about how long the higher spec 3 doors are taking to come through it could be longer. TBH I am thinking I will not collect it until the new 59 plates come out on the 1st September but I am sure, if the dealer has it, I will have some pics of it before then to put up

Had a fiesta before and when I went to drive the Ka I thought I would just have a little go in it and fell in love with it! I stalled my old fiesta coming out the car park as i'd already got so used to the new one! Fiesta just had everything I wanted, makes my little heart flutter every time I see one :-)

OH know the heart flutter feeling - esp if it is a 3 door in Squeeze regardless of which model . . .still not seen a dressed-up Titanium X yet in the flesh (in any colour)

Im not a fan of those two colours.. but ur choice

OI! Nowt wrong with Vision Blue :P ;)

Also, I only really wanted a MK7 Fiesta. Ever since I saw it's debut at the motoring show in London last year, love at first sight

I wasnt looking for a new car - but saw the advert and then starting thinking we could have a brand new car paying for itself out of what we would save getting rid of the 4.5ltr 4x4 merc, just the petrol alone pays our monthly payment lol. Within seeing the advert, talking Max into going and enquiring about part x and then picking up the car took all of 3 weeks lol

We actually went out to buy a VW Golf, salesman didn't sen interested, probably though that we weren't serious, am so glad now because on the way home called into Ford showrrom, saw the Titanium and fell in love with it, still love it 3 months later.

Yeah - I know the feeling. I'm really keen on a brand new VW Golf 1.4 TSi SE with the automatic 7-speed DSG gearbox.

I know it's soooooooooo not cool to talk about speed & performance of a car ;) but the Golf comes with a turbo-charger

and the quickest gear-changing box there is...and those 7 gears sound really useful. With a 0-60 time of 9.5 seconds

and a top speed of 124 mph - that German engine sure seems sweet!

But - as always in life - every plus has its minus! The Golf is very expensive (around £17,000) and if you want the

leather steering wheel with the gear-shifting paddles for the auto box - that's another £650 quid extra - which is mean of VW.

It does have everything else that the Fiesta has - all the "goodies" - as it were. But that's an awful lot of money for a Golf

if you ask me...which is why I'm seriously considering the 3-door Titanium. All the goodies - but for a lot less money.

Just had a quick look and the Golf 1.4 SE DSG 5 door with paddle shift is a cool £5300 more than the 1.6 TiVCT 3Dr Titanium with X Pack, Tech Pack, Dress Up Kit and Rear Parking sensors. I know which I'd rather have and if speed is what you want, you could add the mountune upgrade and still have around £4000 to spare.

I looked at one of those a couple of years back at the local motor show and could not believe how cheap the interior felt - mind you I guess it is a cheaper car by comparison

Nope i didnt test drive the car but just as paulworthing mentioned, the interior doesn’t do justice to the looks of the car.

But saying that theres been a few who didn’t like the look, gf included.... marmite anyone?

Thanks for reply - interior has to look better than the 10 year old car he has  It's also way cheaper than the Honda Civic Type R that he really fancies, but he only does town driving and I'm trying to convince him of the economy!

Nice car that but really pricey on the old insurance and probably a bit thirsty too.

But, you've had what you want, so let him have what he wants--us men have to stick together you know!

And, you'll get to drive it too.......result!!! ;)

Doesn't really count as it never really happened but when i was saving up for a car i was considering a Seat ibiza, Seat Arosa, VW Lupo, VW Polo (same cars!) but never a fiesta until a free one came up by chance!!

Cheers for that RIIIDAA - nice of you.

It sure looks nice. Noticed you changed those dreaded 15-spoke alloys to one's a lot easier to clean! ;)

Is that your one? Omg at the doggy! So cute  ... Car's not too bad either ;)

Omg, me in a 2.2L car, I can't quite see it. Never driven anything bigger than a 1.6. I don't think I'm ready for that sort of power.

Yep it's mine, i bought the 17"s before i took delivery of the car, although the multispoke wheels were quite smart in the flesh...

The guard dog, is Leo - belongs to my mum - he's getting on in years but yes he's cute ;)

Never thought to ask if it was your car RIIIDAA - you got any other pics that you care to share of it or you (if you have let me know and I'll PM uyou my email address) and whereabouts you based then as it says Croydon and Worthing is not that far away . . .

BTW - how much did the wheels set you back as an accessory - I was quoted that they would be over £800 supplied and fitted so I went for the X Pack that the dealer did cheaper than that for me even though I was not bothered about the ESP and am not a great lover of leather seats (althugh my other half did point out it might be a selling point when I come to sell it on - if I ever do!)

Although mine is Vision Blue. It has the Titanium X pack and the full dress up kit. Some Photos here.

Yours is a lovely looking car too Mogwai but have to say if I was going to go for Vision I would have gone with the ZS version as it would have been cheaper for me (not bothered about climate control, cruise control, etc.) and then if I had gone for the ZS I might have gone for the Colorado Red and put some cobra stripes on it too . . .

. . .oh dear, starting to second guess whether I brought the right car with the right options now!

Roll on September and then I'll be driving it and then it'll all be too late (wonder if I can save up enough for the illuminated gear knob before delivery, or the rear parking sensors - LOL)
