I'll give you that - I've always known them as seat rails

It might be regional, I've only known them as runners.  Having said that I know someone (a Canadian) who calls them "tracks"

Right another one.

I'm flexible yet I'm fixed.

I keep my friends bathed, without me you'd grind to a halt, until recently I was not found on BMWs

What am I?

Nope, again right area of the car, but think lower down.

Further clues to what we already have:

I was not on the earlier Escorts (MK1 & 2) nor on Sierras with the exceptions of the XR4x4 and the RS Cosworth; but have been on Fiestas since their launch in 1976.

Correct:smile:

Your go

I can be found at the rear of a car but have been known to be at the front as well.

parking sensors

Not parking sensors, I've been around much longer than that.

The Boot space ?

Exhaust outlet pipe thing, whatever it's called

No, none of the above.

I haven't been found at the front  for about 40 years.

Fuel tank

Spare wheel

Come on Kingsblue the wait is killing us :whip:

None of the above, I'm usually used on the rear on smaller engined vehicles.
