Should We Trust Garages?

Featured Replies

Pleasant looking pooches.:) .. naturally I suppose the last thing anyone else wants to see is Willow looking unpleasant... That way you know you're really in trouble...

  • I don't trust any garages or mechanics. That said, I'm the sort who goes round any work on any part of my property to ensure it's done correctly! I have always been of the opinion no one is out there

  • TBH there's very few real mechanics anymore just technicians. Most car repairs nowadays involves swapping parts and very little repairing. Sent from my SM-G900F using Ford OC mobile app

  • One of my Brother's in law owns his own garage and is ex Formula 1 pit crew and I wouldn't trust him to boil an egg. Sent from my SM-G900F using Ford OC mobile app

boyracer mechanic was servicing jeebo's car.

Before/after servicing decided to use jeebo's car to take himself around town and to a tesco cash machine, then to a mates house, curbing one of jeebo's alloys aswell as labouring the engine,

Thanfully jeebo had a dash cam fitted  has the whole thing on video including the guy's face when he got out to use the cash machine at tesco lol currently in court and mechanic allegedly got sacked or eh a finger wagging from the boss,

Jeebo, did you have thesame camera as in the thread you started a while back http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/50774-gs8000l-dashcam-review/ ? What position was it mounted for no one to notice it was there? I have mine fitted behind the rear view mirror and none of my passengers have ever noticed it, but I'm sure another driver would as they are always (or should be) looking at the mirror as they drive. Unles sit is completely covered over with trim I can't see how they would miss it.

Indeed I did ☺

I can't believe he didn't see the cam...

He's either stupid or ignorant lol

I think your onto something there Clive, on a sidenote, the officer dealing with my case will be speaking with said person soon, and I shall say no more at this time :) it went quiet, but its still going on!
