You'd be better asking that question in the Focus section.

I sorted mine the other day, cheapest quote for fully comp was from AXA and was about £310 (I'm 27 with 5 years no-claims). Once I reduced the excess to £100 total and added some extra things such as legal cover, it went up to £427 which will be about £40 a month.

I added my parents as named drivers, don't know how much that saved but probably quite a bit. Also got 10% discount for having a dashcam. I was a bit silly though cos my brother works for AXA and might have been able to get a discount for me. I'm waiting for him to find out so maybe they can still knock some off, but probably not as the policy started yesterday.

My premium all mods declared (which pushed up the price), 2yrs no claims comes in at approx £450. Seems they're using last years 100% no fault accident against me as last year premium was around £250, I'm certain the mods don't push up the premium £200....

Just had my renewal through and quite shocked (in a good way):

£226.17 + £28.99 for legal cover, so £255.17.

£250 Excess, fully comp, NCD protected.

I paid about £375 last year, so was like :o then :D

I'm jealous of prices that low....

Wow. What are you driving?

I'm 18 and own a 1.6 2013 Focus Zetec

1.6 ecoboost or tivct? What power output?

That still seems excessively high, are you in a high risk area?

Have you filled up the named drivers with low risk drivers?

Thats a good deal compared to bradford!
