Lol, I could have probably got something that cheap but decided to get a room at the hotel where we're having the Christmas party, then I can just crawl to my room when finished :P

      My understanding is that if you are over the limit and just sat behind the wheel even if not attempting to drive you can be charged. Personally I don't drink any more than an odd half pint occasionall

    So just to resurrect this Clive, if I get battered one night, which is rare for me anyway, sleep in the car but unlocked and the keys outside the car on top of the wheel or something, stashed under the car, then what? Xmas party soon.

    Leave the car at homer and get a taxi home or find a half decent B&B nearby?

    No sorry I was just asking out of morbid curiosity. Hotel has a car park and staying there its only a 5 min walk 15 min stagger if walking diagonally. Just curious as to how far it extends.
