Got let out the other day by a brand spanking new Mondeo - new front, 15 plate, very nice car and very nice driver!

  • Saw a 15 plate Astra on the back of a recovery truck with a smashed front end an hour ago. Sorry no pictures, missed opporunity :(

  • That's probably because they've all broken down or crashed before anyone has a chance to see them :P Case in point lol.

  • Well, it's sort of breaking the rules as its not about modern plates, but someone mentioned landies and so it's kinda related... There is an old one parked not too far from me and the number plate on

Plymouth seems to have been a bit slow on new plates so far.

It's picking up slowly though.

Seen lots of new Mondeos/Focii lately, but everytime I look its a 64 plate. :(

There are loads of cars now around here, I give up plate spotting as it's not fun anymore.... Its like trying to spot trees in a forest lol.

Whoever said there was a recession needs shooting as they clearly were wrong lol

Are these 15 plates bought outright, leased or on finance though ? !

God knows but let's be fair, even renting a car can be expensive and the majority I see aren't small cheap cars for 99 a month, they either bought them or are paying over 250 a month for them.

I remember when we really where in recession, points where new cars where scarcely seen in Kent (13 plates are rare I have seen) and I remember at that point seeing an influx of older cars on the road. Now people have money to get a New car by whichever means lpl

better to just to buy after one year when price drops as new cars get sold lots of bargains at dealers

Agree with the above post - saved over 13k on the TXS versus new, it was 6 months old with just 5k on the clock & totally mint.

Seen a load of them again today, it's getting too easy lol.

Yeh... But to be fair, if bill gates said he'd sell you all of Microsoft for £2 million, it'd be a massive bargain but it'd still be expensive and out of my price range...

I've given up too lol.....too many it's boring now.

I think there's a lot more new cars, due to lease hire...rather than buying on tick. :)

...wow, leave the party as I join... I've only seen 2.. A mondeo and a range rover... It was nice to see a ford though, loving the new shape :)

I would have preferred to acquire a nearly new, minimum mileage 15 plate Focus ST 3, but there were none & the dealer offered a trade in deal on the Fiesta ST 2 that was too good to refuse :)

There's a 64 plate new Mondeo round the corner from me I always see it and it makes me jealous...

I can see why, they had one in the showroom whilst I was waiting for my dealer to become free on the day of collection, and I couldn't resist having a sit in it, oh my! It was lurrrvley!

They had it in that whitish silver (not moondust silver) and it was drop dead gorgeous

I've made my mind up on my husbands next car at least

Hopefully there'll be a ST or TXS in the new Mondeo model soon.

Finally saw a 15 plate Mondeo this morning, in black.

It was on my tail (and somewhat close lol), but I can forgive, as the new gen Mondeo looks gorgeous from the front.

I saw a 15 reg Peugeot this evening with L plates on, not even a driving school car!

That is someone either very brave, very stupid, or very rich....

I saw a 15 plate black edition Fiesta today.

Well, I saw 15 plate mondeos in blue, white, silver, 15 plate fiestas in red, blue, and a grey focus on 15 plate. Lol

Not many new ford's then lol

Just realised I've seen a lot of the new transit customs, but I haven't noticed the plates... Not sure whether they're late last year or early this year..
