Where To Get Radio Code

Featured Replies

The battery on my 2007 TDCI Ghia died while on holiday and needs a radio code anyone know the best place to get one and what information do I need to provide?

Thanks

What radio do you have? You need the serial number, it's on a sticker on the radio so you need to take it out. Some Ford dealers will get your code for you for £15 mine did it while I waited took about 15 mins.. Have you checked in your hand book for a code?

Its the Sony 6cd one Ford want £25, just a pain in the !Removed! trying to take it out. Never got the manual with it unfortunately.

Switch radio on and press 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together, cant remember which it is, then various numbers will apear , wait until a number comes up starting with a v------, thats the number you need , if you dont read it all in one go just repeat and get it. Then either ford or ebay.

That didn't work for me, hence I went to ford but it's got to be worth a try
