Sure this has potentially been asked a few times,, but here we go!

I currently own a MK3 53 reg Zetec s mondeo (facelift) with the 6000 stereo as standard..

Have purchased the Sony 6cd changer that was bought from a 2005 ST

It all plugs in, works perfect with AUX, steering wheel controls etc, but it does not want to fit inside the dash, the face of the stereo sits a lot more of a slant compared the the standard

Does anyone know the solution to making this sit inside the dash?

There is no option to make that radio fit unfortunately.

There are two different shape Sony radios, one for the Focus, C-Max, fusion etc and one for the Mondeo.

When you say the Sony one I assume you mean this one?-

You need a unit designed for the Mondeo unfortunately-

Apparently you will need to change the cage inside the dash..dead sure I've heard of somebody who had the same problem as yourself, kind of stupid design as the older generation fords had very easy hi if systems that you could swop out easily, even from another model, I know the CD player in a 52 focus will happily fit a 51 mondy or a 98 mondy for that matter...but the facelift mondeo has a least 3 variables were the entertainment system is concerned!!
