Help! Location Of Front Airbag Sensor Plse 08 Ma Mondy Tdci

Featured Replies

Hi from Australia...I hit a very large kangaroo at 100km and smashed the front of my poor Mondy

Amazingly the airbags didnt deploy and the main impact was taken by the bonnet.

Ive replaced all the bits with new and second hand parts and have only one thing I cant work out.

My 82 yr old father inlaw began the dismantle without me present after the crash, tried to help out but really made it worse because I didnt see what was dismantled and where...=/

The airbag sensor is still attached to the wireing but I cant for the life of me see where it bolts on?

Its got a hole right through with a metal bush in it that Im assuming is where the bolt goes through into some part of the car. The workshop manual doesnt show it so wondering if someone can take a look? I just found this picture of a MK 4 Petrol location ..Is this the same as the Diesel? and which way up does it bolt on?... cheers guys
