pragmatix
Had great "fun" today swapping over to the winter wheels one of the locking wheel nuts split as I was getting it off luckily it was the last one, managed to get it of by hammering the key onto the nut but not before I removed the other locking nuts and replaced them with some spate plain nuts, so know I require a new set of locking nuts and key, where's a good place to get them, that are a good quality apart from a Ford main stealer? SeanW
McGard - same as the Ford ones - available either online or even Halfords

Wangarai
The McGuard locking nuts for the mk4 mondeo are about £50 from the Ford dealer - not cheap but at least you know they are suitable compared with the array of results you get in eBay when searching. I had to buy a new set when I got the new car as it only had three locking nuts. I contacted McGuard in Germany but they only supply replacement locking wheel nut keys & not the locking nuts (individually).
BOF
Last time I needed any, I just went to a local motor factors. They were about £20 - 25, but it was ~10 years ago, so I wouldn't like to guess what they are today. If you are primarily concerned about the quality, McGard is probably the best option, though (the ones I had did last for ten years, though, so couldn't have been that bad). SeanW
If you reserve online through Halfords, you can enter your reg and get the right ones. I think mine were £35 for the slightly less secure ones (no rotating collar)
V6 Lover
I used to use the locking nuts but now have a spare set of ford ones of mk3 mondeo and a spare set of Mcguards of a mk2 Mondeo.... hated the panic they caused at wheel removal times.... V6 Lover
Here are my little headaches.... The collars on the mcguards don't rotate like the ford collars...I can see why people like these as they do make would be thieves think twice... But that's your casual thief...any lowlife that happens to really like your alloys and expensive rubber and is capable with a power tool will no doubt have a way with these lock lugs...but that's just my opinion folks.... PS...I have been wrong on occasion though!!:)
