ST Diffuser being painted and fitted this weekend! Woop! Will take photos boys.

I take it you are going down the White route with it as mine is White on my ZS but I'm thinking about changing it to Black if I keep my Fiesta as I also have the Triple R side skirts and front spilter so it should follow your eye around to the back and all match in the same colour

Cookey, as promised mate here are some quick snaps of the slim ballasts you wanted. They're the ones from my link above. Something to Note, I found a good spot to mount these was on the back of the lights themselves. Whenever your doing this, good idea to use just a little bit of silicon into the screw hole, keeps everything weather tight.

Hey Damian. Yeah I think the white makes it a more noticeable feature mate, just spraying it now actually! Haha. I'm also going to spray the honeycomb deflector black and then lacquer it so it's glossy like plastics on the front. TripleR composites have a nice gloss black all in one bit, but I like it white. Still in 6 months I might redo it..

Also gents the LED H11 Fogs arrived yesterday so I will be fitting them this afternoon also..

Next weekend I'm expecting 'pressed plates' (£19 EBay) and I'm carbon wrapping the front and dropping the number plate to the bottom. A bit like Damian's above actually.

Nice, cheers buddy spot on that, I'm wondering if double sided gorilla tape would do the trick? As apposed to drilling and !Removed!? EDIT: (this should say Screw***ing*** it removes this word.... Wow)

Looks smart that though mate! Much appreciated! They are just of case plugging into the headlight wiring aren't they? And then cutting through the rubber cap?

If you can mate, get some pictures of the HIDS projecting light? I've seen what they look like from the front? I want to see what they look like shining onto the road?

If that makes sense?

Much appreciated matey, cheers.

Cookey.

Just fix them under the headlights to the chassis member with some cable ties looks neater when you can't see them and saves drilling into your headlight

No probs mate il sort it. ST Diffuser is on and it looks the nuts. Self sprayed and looks awesome.. So cost just £130 for the ST rear :)

Philf1 is absolutely right, that's just ad gooder place you could use to mount the ballasts. I wanted mine visible, and found cable wiring very accessible from where I've mounted it.

Have a good week fellas

Where did you get the St diffuser parts from and how much where they? Did you fit it yourself?

Hi Taylor22, bought the parts direct from ford, via eBay. Paid £125 for the top and bottom combined. Spray canned the diffuser Frozen White, and looks great. Re-rivetted and ready to go.. Very pleased. Photos to follow..

Sounds good! You wouldn't have the links would you?

So next weekend I'm wrapping the headlights to look like the TripleRComposites black eye brows, and taking off the front number plate to wrap the front carbon fibre black. As always, photos to follow.. I'm also considering the Stage 1 remap and Intercooler with dump valve..

Can't say I'm a massive fan of the exhaust but it's nice to see something different

One little mod to tidy up the rear end even more is to lose the dealer plates and go for some clean ones without Trust Ford on them

Agreed get some pressed metal ones they are far better than plastic ones

Agreed Pressed Plates are on order. I'm wrapping the front number plate and headlight eyebrows anyway next weekend :)

I chose the exhaust because it looks different, cheers bro.

Looks smart mate

I love that exhaust! Tempted to put it on my ZS!

Everyone upgrading to the ST rear diffuser but I prefer the ZS one... That can't just be me right?[emoji38]

Must be honest, the ST diffuser for me makes it look a little more sporty.. and it really is so simple to fit..

FYI the Oval exhaust wasn't a straight fit, In the end I used an angle grinder to cut away a section of the tip, bent and welded. Wasn't a long job but a bit fiddly.

I would recommend looking for an oval exhaust tip that has a bend in it already for ease of fitting.

I'm going to get a new back box soon with a straight exit.. you can have my old tip when I get that mate.

Pressed Plates arrived today.. Fitting them this weekend..

Also hoping my NBStyling Bonnet Strut arrives this week.. Will post this when done..

Next on the list is a custom boot light install.. (Install a light on the left so its the same as the light on the right!)..

Any other Ideas people?..

How does the NBstyling bonnet strut work? And isn't there something similar for the boot? You can use the button on your key fob to open the boot? And the boot lifts up?

Let us know how you get on with the additional boot light too! I'm interested in doing this.

The bonnet strut from NBStyling is dead simple..

http://www.nbstyling.co.uk/store/?pID=14

These bolt right onto the top right mount.. Nice little mod for £58 - Should be a 10 minute fit I recon..

I'm going to the breakers later to try and get a boot light housing from an old MK6 as I understand these haven't changed in the MK7..

Also I've got my black wrap on the way as wrapping the front behind the number plate black :)

I think the rear one is a bit more difficult .. (particularly as you would definitely need a motor if you wanted it to shut itself too)..

Interesting... say if i didnt want the boot to shut itself? How would it work? Same as the front? Does it need anything? Any wiring? Or is it a case of fix on and play? At gym at moment. Aint got time or good internet for research ;)

Boot release should be just a more powerful strut mate.. but don't quote me on that..

I'll send you some photos of me bonnet one once its done this weekend mate.
