Was it the damaged tyre that blew?

It was damaged on inside which i had no idea about. Car recently went for tracking done and clearly didnt do a good job. Inside wasnt great so that was the reason. Was shocked when the guy took it off as ive recently just passed an mot also.

Stupid thing is something didnt feel right the other day but was coming from the left side took wheel off etc and nothing and it was fine after that. Should of checked right side and would of seen it.

Ive learnt from my mistakes.

I would hope your Mums locking wheel nut key doesn't work...  Be pretty pointless if the keys fitted all the nuts!

That does suck though, one of my mates is often getting puntures and blowouts, some people just seem to be unlucky with tyres!

I knew it wouldnt fit but tell ya was about 2mm out. I think if i had a socket a tiny bit bigger than the small breaker bar or whatever it comes with i reckon i could of got it out with a little fight. But thats luck for you. To make things even better a fiesta pulled up so took my chances and asked that driver who was an elderly lady bless her tried her best. I looked and she was on steels lol. The things you do when stuck in middle of no where.

Anyway, lesson here is try not to loose your locking key (god knows how ive done it as i have the packet it comes with thank god) and keep an eye on them tyres even if tread looks good.

Lol, yeah I know the desperation when you're stranded, last week I broke a gear linkage and couldn't get any gears at the entrance to a roundabout.  Difference is I was on a busy main road and no-one stopped to help.  Just got a lot of beeps and eye rolling, cheers then!

Always something eh tom!

Well it's my own fault for buying another Peugeot...  The Focus is mostly not broken...but I'm constantly expecting it to be!

To be fair, the gear linkage on our MK1 Focus went TWICE in the space of two weeks, the second time at a roundabout too.  Thankfully 3rd gear was engaged at the time, so we managed to drive it home (unlike the first time where it stuck in neutral - whilst shifting from 2nd to 3rd - after pulling out of a busy junction to a main road).
